Mercury Retrograde

Using tropical
calculations, Mercury goes retrograde April 28, 2016, at 1:20 PM, Eastern, in
the sign of Taurus.
Mercury rules
thinking and perception, processing and disseminating information and all means
of communication, commerce, education and transportation. By extension, Mercury
rules people who work in these areas, especially those who work with their
minds or their wits: writers and orators, consultants, commentators and
critics, gossips and spin doctors, salespeople, teachers, travelers, tricksters
and thieves. Mercury also has an occult side, so healing, astrology and the
transmission of spiritual knowledge are also in his area.
Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings; flawed, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. And all of these problems usually arise because some crucial piece of information, or component, has gone astray or awry. Public transit, i.e. air, bus, etc., law enforcement activity, and social unrest may be affected and/or increase during a Mercury retrograde.
It is not exactly wise to make important decisions while Mercury is retrograde, since it is likely that such decisions will be clouded by misinformation, poor communication and careless thinking. Mercury is all about mental clarity and the power of the mind, so when Mercury is retrograde these intellectual characteristics tend to be less acute than usual, as the critical faculties are dimmed. Make sure you pay attention to the small print!

The Energy for this Mercury Retrograde
In addition to the communication
and technology challenges presented to the individual person during Mercury
retrogrades, the additional energies during this period will be centered around
financial, career, and emotional issues locally, nationally, and geopolitically,
as well as centered around the individual person.
Much distress will
surround finances, monetary systems, the idea of what the monetary systems is
supposed to be and work, and if our current system will survive in the coming
years. Much of this distress will begin
to come to a head during this retrograde.
Economically, we will begin to see fractures within the current
financial systems that will begin to falter and give way for new methods
and ideas to take hold. Many of the old
paradigms that exist with governments, corporations, as well as old belief systems
that individual people have, will also experience a “reckoning,” which during
this retrograde will need to be addressed and resolved. If this “reckoning” does not occur, a deeper “reckoning”
may occur at a later date, which will not be to the advantage to those who have
not taken the time to ascertain their current frame of mind and heart.
Many careers that
have been built on the old paradigms of the financial system may begin to show
signs of their foundations weakening during this time, which may begin to cause
much distress to established corporations and families, as well as government
entities, to include political establishments.
Words being said will be taken in ways that are not conducive to positive
communications. Time and patience is
needed to assure all words said are clearly understood.
The financial establishments
may begin to speak words of positive accomplishments and golden futures, but be
aware that many in these same establishments may resort to illusionary speak to
ease the worries of those heavily vested in the establishments’ ventures. Much may also be said behind closed doors
among the large financial establishments of a coming “new financial system,”
which is placing much fear in their hearts for this may be a herald of coming
changes for them, but be a reflection of positive change for all.
The automated
systems that are connected to the old financial establishments will also begin
to falter if not re-evaluated and reformatted to reflect a more “service-to-others”
approach. Keep your eyes on the
financial districts of all countries for they may be the proverbial “canary in
the tunnel.” Checking in with your heart
shall provide you the much needed “check and balance” to know what is Truth and what is Illusion and will help you in overcoming
your fears and assist you in making positive and heart-centered choices for
yourself and your loved ones.
Much luck will exist
for everyone during this time when the heart is turned towards programs,
systems, and careers that are service-to-others oriented, or if the current
programs, systems, and careers are re-oriented to a service-to-others
mindset. In other words, be patient and
come from the heart before any action is taken on any task, project, or any
endeavor you choose. When doing this,
you will be in a place of peace within your heart to be able to see things much
more clearly, which will assist you in moving forward with your journey.
